Customers who availed the iPhone 16 series from Smart stores did not only become some of the first owners of the latest Apple flagships, but also received a handful of freebies.

This, as the Philippine network provider gave away PhP 3,000 worth of vouchers and phone accessories to the first 16 customers who purchased any model under the series.

The iPhone 16 series was officially unveiled last October 18 in the country. Major retailers all had their gimmicks to sweeten the deal for those who got the handsets.

Smart held its “unbox the future” midnight promotion at its SM Megamall branch. The event was graced by celebrities Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras.

For those who are still yet to get their hands on the latest iPhone, Smart is offering the iPhone 16 for as low as PhP 2,313 a month at 0% interest. This prepaid offer comes with a free Smart Prepaid eSIM and 16GB of mobile data.

Subscribers can also avail of the latest iPhone under Plans+ 999 for just PhP 1,300 monthly. This is after making a PhP 21,000 downpayment.

Meanwhile, recontracting Smart Postpaid customers can get the base model (128GB) for PhP 2,121 per month, without cashout.
