Xiaomi launches Mi Max 2 in India

Xiaomi’s biggest smartphone has just reached one of the world’s biggest markets. If you’re waiting to get your hands on the Mi Max 2 in India, wait no more!

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has been officially launched in New Delhi almost two months after its initial announcement in China. It brings its gigantic 6.44-inch Full HD display and 5300mAh battery to Indian consumers.

Xiaomi also didn’t skimp on giving the Mi Max 2 the best possible specs for its price range. Running inside is a Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of memory and 64GB of expandable storage. It’s got 12- and 5-megapixel rear and front cameras, and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Its predecessor was one of best phablets to ever enter the market. With the improvements of the Mi Max 2, it continues to be a bang-for-buck handset.

The phone is priced at INR 16,999 (US$ 264) and available in a sleek matte black color. It’ll be part of the third Mi Anniversary special sale happening from July 20 to 21 on Mi.com and at Mi Home. Retailers and online stores in India will have the phone on sale starting July 27.

OnePlus 5T in Lava Red color is coming to South Asia

It can’t get any redder than this

Having more color options is great, and OnePlus knows that, which is why they’re bringing the Lava Red variant of the flagship phone to the Indian market.

The OnePlus 5T in Lava Red first debuted in November of last year but it was an exclusive color for China until now. This bright red OnePlus 5T is headed to India, and fans there will be able to buy one starting January 20.

What’s special about this compared to the other OnePlus 5Ts? Nothing really aside from a striking body color and a redesigned wallpaper to match. The phone is on display at CES 2018 in Las Vegas and seeing it person makes us appreciate it more — it’s gorgeous. We’re digging the contrast of the aluminum body to the minimal black front bezel, and we can’t deny its similarities with the OPPO R11s.

The Lava Red OnePlus 5T will be exclusively available on Amazon India for INR 37,999 (US$ 595). It’s only available in the 8GB/128GB version (the highest configuration of the OnePlus 5T) and is priced the same as the previous Midnight Black color.

Just last December, India was able to grab an exclusive sale of the Star Wars Special Edition of the OnePlus 5T which sports a white body with the Star Wars logo etched near the bottom.
