PLDT offers faster DSL and fiber plans for the holiday season

Just when the Philippine finally got their third major player, the country’s largest service provider PLDT is offering a limited-time holiday promo for new applicants and existing landline subscribers.

Until December 31, both the Home Fibr and Home DSL plans are getting the speed boost they need to entice users, starting from the cheapest available Plan 1299 with an advertised speed of up to 5Mbps.

Here are the upgraded Home Fibr plans posted on PLDT’s website:

  • Home Fibr Plan 12993Mbps 5Mbps
  • Home Fibr Plan 16995Mbps 15Mbps
  • Home Fibr Plan 189920Mbps 25Mbps
  • Home Fibr Plan 2899 — 50Mbps

If fiber connection is not available in the area, PLDT is also offering the following Home DSL plans:

  • Home DSL Plan 12993Mbps 5Mbps
  • Home DSL Plan 16995Mbps 15Mbps
  • Home DSL Plan 2899 — 20Mbps

Among the listed plans, Plan 1899 offers the best upgrade value for fiber with faster speeds of up to 25Mbps, while Plan 1699 for DSL is now boosted to 15Mbps which is three times faster than before.

All of the plans come with a landline and unlimited internet bandwidth. Also, installation and activation fees are waived plus there’s no cash-out.

Keep in mind that terms and conditions apply including a 24-month lock-in period for Home DSL plans and a longer 36-month lock-in period for Home Fibr plans.

Applications can be processed online through the PLDT Home website. Interested applicants can also visit PLDT Home booths, sales and service centers, hotline, and Smart/Sun stores.
