OnePlus 7 Pro is the company’s most premium phone with all the newest tech
Now belongs on the premium throne
OnePlus went super premium with its latest flagship phone: the OnePlus 7 Pro. With all the latest tech packed into one device, OnePlus is not aiming to become a flagship killer anymore. The company’s new goal is to become one of the big names in the premium segment.
Right off the bat, the OnePlus 7 Pro is not your usual OnePlus phone with just the high-end essentials. The “Pro” in its name is more than just extra memory or storage.
First, it has the “most advanced smartphone display” featuring a 6.67-inch curved Fluid AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the screen also supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ standard.

With all these screen technologies, the OnePlus 7 Pro is able to earn DisplayMate’s highest A+ rating. Additionally, the phone sports a stereo dual-speaker system tuned by Dolby with an amplifier for better sound quality.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor, a must-have among flagship phones this 2019. What will set the OnePlus 7 Pro apart is its memory option of up to 12GB, which is more than enough to run even a desktop PC smoothly. It also has liquid cooling to keep the phone’s temperature in check.
A first for OnePlus is the triple camera system on the back of the phone. The OnePlus 7 Pro has a main 48-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle shooter. These cameras are aided by a three-pronged autofocus system like PDAF, CAF, and Laser to ensure it knows where to focus even in low light.

As for taking selfies, OnePlus copied from the textbooks of OPPO and Vivo. Using a motorized pop-up module, OnePlus is able to hide a 20-megapixel f/2.0 camera. This means the phone has no notch that takes away precious pixels in the display.
If you’re particular about a phone’s DxOMark score, you’ll be glad to know that the OnePlus 7 is able to get a total score of 111. It’s just a point shy of Huawei’s P30 Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy S10 5G.
The phone’s hardware draws power from a massive 4000mAh battery. Not only that, but it also has the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition’s Warp Charge 30 which will fill up the OnePlus 7 Pro’s battery up to almost half in just 20 minutes.

On the software side of things, an updated Oxygen OS (still based on Android 9 Pie) with extra features like a screen recorder and Zen Mode, Oxygen OS’ take on the Do Not Disturb Mode, runs out of the box. The phone has improved haptic vibration as well with multiple levels of feedback making it ideal for gaming, and a faster in-display fingerprint scanner.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is the company’s most premium phone to date and most expensive, too. The phone will be available on May 17 in Almond, Nebula Blue, and Mirror Gray colors through OnePlus.com starting at US$ 669 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The 8GB+256GB model will go for US$ 699, while the top-dog 12GB+256GB version is at US$ 749.

REDMI Note 15 Series named Presenting Partner for Spartan Race Philippines 2026 season
Titan Toughness takes center stage!
Being a Spartan athlete for five years has taught me that endurance isn’t just about physical strength; it’s about the mental grit to keep moving when your body begs you to stop.
In this world, “toughness” becomes more than just a marketing buzzword. Now, it’s a requirement for survival. That’s why the partnership between Spartan Race Philippines and the REDMI Note 15 Series feels like a shared philosophy.
Partner for a tough course
Starting March 21, 2026, at Parklinks, Pasig City, the REDMI Note 15 Series officially joins the Spartan circuit.
For someone who has navigated these obstacles for years, I know that technology usually doesn’t belong in the mud. But the “Titan Tough” promise of the REDMI Note 15 is built for this exact routine.
It’s designed to be there for the moments that matter. For capturing the raw, unpolished triumph of the finish line; for surviving the grit of the course so you can focus on the next hurdle; and for finding the device at the heart of the festival area and the winner’s circle, mirroring the resilience of the athletes themselves.
