ASUS announces ZenBook Flip S UX371
World’s thinnest OLED Convertible
A quirky and creative you deserves an equally quirky and creative companion. I supposed that’s what ASUS had in mind with the ZenBook Flip S (UX371).
At just 13.9mm, it’s the world’s thinnest OLED convertible laptop. But what does that mean for you? It means a light and compact device that has a 4K UHD OLED NanoEdge PANTONE Validated color-accurate touchscreen display.
It also has a wide 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and is VESA DisplayHDR™ 500 True Black certified for deep blacks and exceptional contrast. Piling on, it’s also TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye care, and for intuitive input it supports the new ASUS Pen active stylus with 4096 pressure levels.
That’s a lot, right? But that’s not all.
Despite its size, the ZenBook Flip S won’t leave you wanting in power. Inside it is the latest 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and Intel Iris X graphics, combined with up to 16GB of RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD.
Display is fantastic, specs are great, but we skipped the thing that you probably noticed first — it’s goddamn good-looking.
It features a Jade Black finish with contrasting Red Copper diamond-cut highlights and a brushed-aluminum deco bar. It looks hella premium, it’ll make you want to dress up when you use it.
What about ports? You get a full set including a full-size HDMI port, two ultrafast Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port.
As a bonus it’s fitted with a noise-canceling microphone system that ensures crystal-clear voice reproduction in phone calls and online video meetings.
The ASUS ZenBook S UX393 will be available in Q4 2020. Pricing for the device has yet to be announced.
