Our journey to Samsung Unpacked 2015 begins way before any official invite is sent out. History dictates new Galaxy Notes are released in September in Berlin, but credible sources are telling us it will be launched in New York in August.

We post this advancer video to sum up all the leaks. With over 120K views it is one of our most popular.

Shortly after, the official invites are sent out. As rumored, the event takes place in New York on August 13. GadgetMatch is going.

On August 11, in Manila, we shoot one more video before I head to the airport.

The journey to New York takes 30 hours and includes two stopovers. On our first stop over in Singapore I upload this video blog.

While I’m in the air somewhere over Asia or Europe, the team launches our Note 5 micro site. We announce across all our social media platforms.
