GadgetMatch wraps up COMPUTEX 2025
We explored Taiwan’s biggest tech show and connected with the brands shaping tomorrow.
GadgetMatch proudly wrapped up its on-ground coverage of COMPUTEX 2025, the world’s leading technology expo held annually in Taipei, Taiwan.
From the latest gaming rigs and AI-powered laptops to memory innovations and lifestyle tech, this year’s show floor buzzed with breakthroughs and we were there to experience it all.
Covering the event were Rodneil Quiteles, Managing Editor of GadgetMatch Philippines; Vincenz Lee, Associate Creative Producer; and MJ Jucutan, Associate Creative Director.
Together, they brought stories, videos, and social coverage that highlighted the best of what COMPUTEX had to offer, while also giving our community a taste of tech culture in Taiwan.
Our highlights from the show floor
MSI went all in on AI. We explored their latest creator and gaming laptops featuring built-in Copilot buttons and AI-enhanced performance. MSI also showcased a new line of desktops and monitors designed to keep up with modern workflows.
Acer wowed us with its SpatialLabs technology, blending AI, 3D, and immersive visuals for next-gen creators and gamers. Their new Predator and Swift lineups are not just powerful; they’re pushing boundaries.
Gigabyte unveiled sleek motherboards and pre-built solutions for power users. Their AORUS line was particularly impressive for gamers and PC builders who want performance without compromise.
ADATA and XPG gave us a look at high-speed, high-capacity memory, and storage options that are ideal for gamers, creatives, and data-heavy pros. Their booth also included eye-catching collaborations with artists and modders.
TeamGroup highlighted its commitment to performance and design. From DDR5 RAM to high-efficiency SSDs, they’re clearly tuned in to the needs of both builders and enterprise users.
iRocks merged form and function with a range of mechanical keyboards and ergonomic setups that blend aesthetic appeal with typing comfort.
Kingston stayed true to its legacy of reliability with new innovations in SSD and memory solutions. Their FURY gaming lineup continues to be a top choice for competitive gamers around the world.
Heartfelt thanks to our sponsors

Akko’s keyboards are straight out of a dream desk setup
Plus, they have a Cat-themed Mouse that got me obsessed!
I’m not one to fawn over a cute keyboard. That changed when I walked into the Akko Gear booth at COMPUTEX.
Imagine walking into a pastel wonderland of keyboards so pretty you’d think they were designed by magical girls on a cloud-shaped typewriter.
Akko’s booth wasn’t just serving tech, it was giving aesthetic obsession.
Let’s talk about the keyboards first. There were dreamy purples, sakura pinks, mint greens — all in soft matte finishes and with keycaps that made me think of bread, bubble tea, soft serve, and my childhood sticker albums.
It’s not just about looks either. These are mechanical keyboards, meaning you still get that satisfying click-clack feedback, but now with a personality that screams kawaii-core.
Some boards had matching themes — like soft gradient caps with clouds and stars, or forest green ones with frog and mushroom accents. But the one that really got me? The cat-themed keyboard and mouse combo.
Yes. A cat-themed mouse. With whiskers. And tiny ears.
I don’t even use mice that often (hello, I love my laptop trackpad), but suddenly I need this one. Pair it with the matching cat paw wrist rest and you’ve got yourself the coziest, cutest desk setup in the whole galaxy.
I felt like these are more personality pieces than tools. It’s a way to say, “Yes, I write emails, but I do it with style.”
As someone who loves tech and aesthetics, Akko is dangerously good at making me want everything they make.
I could already picture a setup where my desk becomes a pastel playground, my daily work stress eased just a little by the sight of a keyboard that looks like it came from Sanrio headquarters.

I tried an open earbuds that also doubles as fashion clips
The Biosong B7 Open lets you listen in style with earclips you can personalize and flaunt!
When you’ve been walking around COMPUTEX all day, dodging RGB lights and giant gaming rigs, sometimes the thing that catches your eye is the unexpected.
For me, it was these chic, ear-hugging earbuds at the Biosong booth — the B7 Open Earbuds.
At first glance, I honestly thought they were fashion accessories. I mean, they clip onto your ears like statement earrings. But then I realized: oh wow, these are actual earbuds.
And not just any earbuds. These are open-ear, super lightweight, and customizable, which means you can match them to your personal style.
Biosong’s concept here is clear: earbuds that don’t just sound good, but look good too. It’s a refreshing take, especially when most earbuds are still trying to hide in your ear or dangle like dental floss.
The earclip design feels futuristic and fun, and because it doesn’t sit inside your ear canal, it’s surprisingly comfortable. I didn’t feel any pressure or fatigue, and yes, you can wear them for hours without feeling the urge to take them off.
Open-ear, but not open to compromise
The B7 Open uses Bluetooth 5.4 with a dual-chip setup, which meant pairing was quick and stable when I tested it on-site.
There was a noticeable lack of lag during the short demo I tried. I also noticed how spatial the sound felt, thanks to what they call “Surround Sound.”
It’s not noise-canceling, but that’s by design. Open-ear audio is supposed to keep you aware of your surroundings, which is perfect for running, biking, or just walking around a city where you still want to hear what’s going on around you.
Inside, the audio is powered by a bio-dynamic diaphragm — yep, that’s science in your ears. Biosong says they use fibers turned into a bio-cellular fabric for a sound that’s more natural and clear.
I can’t speak to the fiber science, but I can say the mids were clean, vocals sounded crisp, and it didn’t have that harsh digital sharpness cheaper earbuds often do.
Each earbud can last around 5 to 6 hours on a single charge, and the compact charging case bumps that up to 30 hours total.
TL;DR — are the Biosong B7 open earbuds worth it?
If you’re looking for something stylish, light, and practical, these are absolutely worth checking out.
They don’t isolate you from your surroundings (ideal for urban runners, bikers, or people who just want awareness), and they double as a fashion accessory.
I can totally see these fitting into my everyday life — whether I’m running errands, heading to the gym, or just vibing in cute tech.
If you want your earbuds to double as accessories — and still deliver solid audio — the Biosong B7 Open might be one of the coolest little discovery I made at COMPUTEX this year.
