Lazada’s 12.12 Grand Year End Sale is just around the corner but the company is also giving you another option to spend your hard-earned cash. It’s one that will give you warm fuzzy feelings inside.

Launched alongside the announcement of their massive year-end sale, Lazada partnered with 11 local and international advocacy partners: Habitat for Humanity, Young Focus, Caritas Manila, MovEd, UNHCR, HEro Foundation Inc., UNICEF, WWF, Tahanan ng Pagmamahal, HOPE, and CCEF.

The digital giving platform won’t just be available for Christmas, it will be a permanent fixture on the Lazada app. This means you can give love 24/7 and 365 days a year.

To donate, simply open the Lazada app, hit Load, Bills, & eCoupon, then click on Donation. The list of the advocacy partners will be there.

Spotify’s Disney Hub lets you listen to everything Disney

You’ve got a friend in me — I mean, in Spotify and Disney. Together, they created a dedicated Disney Hub which includes playlists, soundtracks, and podcasts for Disney fans of all ages.

To find Disney Hub, open your Spotify app and search “Disney.” You might encounter a barrage of suggested playlists, but make sure you click Disney as a genre.

Among the curated playlists, you can find Disney Hits which are comprised of top songs from popular Disney and Pixar films across the world. You can also play Disney Favorites, Disney Classics, and Disney Sing-Alongs featuring nostalgic songs we love.

Speaking of love, Disney has a Disney Princess playlist for those currently in love and obsessed with their crushes. It’s complete with love ballads. Action-oriented fans can also treat themselves with Marvel Music and Best of Star Wars.

Studio Ghibli films coming to Netflix!

Netflix’s anime library is about to get a major boost as the films from the award-winning Studio Ghibli is set to join the streaming platform.

Starting February 1, 2020, selected films from Studio Ghibli will be available for streaming globally (except US, Canada, and Japan). This was made possible through distribution partner Wild Bunch International.

Renowned titles like Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s Delivery Service will be making their way to Netflix. A total of 21 films will all eventually come to Netflix. They will be available in 28 subtitled languages and dubbed in up to 20 languages.

The films coming to the Netflix are as follows:

Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989),

McDonald’s Philippines starts the new year with a bang by announcing their new and fresh mobile app.

No, this is not the replacement for the existing McDelivery app. What it does is give customers special offers and discounts that can be availed through front counters, take-out booths, and drive-troughs in all McDonald’s stores nationwide.

By downloading the new app through the App Store or Google Play, you can get deals such as the Buy One Get One Cheeseburger for PhP 99 or the Big Mac for only PhP 75. Registration is free and doesn’t require any special membership to get future discounts and promos.

Another feature is the Store Locator which helps you find the nearest McDonald’s store in your area. You can also book your next big party at McDonald’s through the McDo Party website.
