Following an August 2019 announcement, Samsung’s ultra portable, always connected PC, the Galaxy Book S is now available for pre-order in the US.

The Galaxy Book S is Samsung’s first LTE-enabled computer, which means with a data SIM card you won’t need to rely on Wi-Fi hotspots while on the go.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8CX processor, this notebook computer represents a new breed of computing devices that deliver enough power for everyday tasks, in a slim and sleek form factor, and with extremely long battery life.

Samsung is promising up 25 hours of video playback on a single charge. A tall order considering the laptop is just over a centimeter thick and just shy of a kilogram.

Users can pre-order the device on Samsung.com starting today January 30 through February 12th. Consumers who pre-order will receive a $100 credit towards any Samsung PC, tablet or select accessory.

The Galaxy Book S will be available for purchase on February 13 at Microsoft Stores, on Samsung.com and from Verizon. It will also be available from Sprint starting February 14th.
