Screenshots of the upcoming video game version of popular anime My Hero Academia are out and we’re officially hyped!

Details about My Hero Academia: One’s Justice, developed by Bandai Namco, are scarce but as with most anime titles, this one will be an action game available on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

My Hero Academia started as a manga back in 2014 with the anime adaptation following shortly after. It tells the story of a world where super powers are the norm and children go to school to learn how to harness these powers and become professional heroes.

The plot revolves around Izuku “Deku” Midoriya who is eager to become a super hero but was born without super powers. He later on meets his idol and the world’s greatest hero — All Might — who takes Deku under his wing and trains him to be the successor of his super power called One For All.

In these first set of screenshots, we see the main character Midoriya squaring off against the villain Tomura Shigaraki.

A trailer of the game is expected to be released on December 16 at the Jump Festa 2018 expo in Japan. We’re pumped and hope to see more characters once the trailer drops.
