Looking for a gift for your techy friend, family member, or loved one? Sony has just released its list of Christmas gift recommendations, and there are surely plenty of items for each recipient.

There are headphones and earbuds, speakers, TVs, and even cameras to suit the needs of your Kris Kringle mate.

Headphones, earbuds

The Sony 1000XM5 headphones and earbuds offer top-tier sound and comfort. It is the company’s industry-leading noise-canceling wearables, which also come with adaptive sound control.

The headphones and earbuds have up to 30 and 24 hours of battery life, respectively, so they can support listening to music or podcasts or even binge-watching movies and series for long sessions.

The headphones is priced at PhP 17,999 while the earbuds retails for PhP 15,999. For a more affordable option, the Sony WF-C510 earbuds is listed at PhP 3,299 this December.

Speakers

For those who love to party, Sony’s ULT Power Sound series is definitely the peripheral. Specifically, the ULT Tower 10 is the complete package suitable for Filipino parties.

It has a built-in wireless microphone for parties, reunions, Christmas programs, and everything in between. It also has a makeshift amplifier for guitars. If connecting to a visual output, it comes with a TV Sound Booster feature. And for parties, it can level up the venue’s ambience with Party Connect.

For a smaller choice, the portable ULT Field 1 delivers powerful and loud sound as well. It has IP67 rating, and even supports hands-free calling.

LED, OLED TVs

And of course, for modern TVs, the Sony BRAVIA 7 Mini LED TV and BRAVIA 8 OLED TV are perfect for households.

Celebrate your teacher and win rewards with this PMC campaign

Join Power Mac Center’s To My Teacher campaign

Power Mac Center (PMC) has launched a “To My Teacher” campaign in celebration of National Teacher’s Month, inviting everyone to pay tribute to their mentors in school and in life.

The initiative kicked off on October 1st through on-campus activations across major universities across Metro Manila.

PMC placed photo walls at the University of Santo Tomas, U.P. Shopping Center, and De La Salle University Manila stores from October 1 to 4.

Alongside these were PMC Mac Clinic booths to offer students and faculty free external device cleaning, assessment, and consultation on select dates.

PMC also has an online photo contest that all students can join. To participate, simply post a photo with your teacher on Facebook along with a heartfelt message.

The message should complete the statement, “To my teacher, ___.” It should answer the question “How does your teacher improve your learning experience with the help of technology?”

Don’t forget to include the hashtag #PMCToMyTeacher and set the post to public.

This contest is open until 11:59 P.M. on October 15. Each person may only submit one entry. They may submit entries via this link.

Judges will deliberate the entries based on the strength of the narrative and overall creativity. More details on that on PMC’s Facebook post here.
