AMD brings out the Radeon RX 9060 XT at COMPUTEX 2025
Rocking the RDNA 4 architecture
Every year, the annual COMPUTEX showcase is a prime location for the launch of new GPUs. While NVIDIA is also on the floor, AMD took the chance to launch a new graphics card of its own. If you’re on the hunt for a new GPU to fit into your rig, check out the new Radeon RX 9060 XT.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT is, of course, meant to succeed the Radeon RX 7600 XT, which came out only last year. A new GPU in the same segment after less than a year and a half might seem like a strained effort to squeeze out marginal gains, but there are a few differences you might want to take note of.
For one, the new chipset will rock the AMD RDNA 4 architecture, using a smaller size of the Navi 48 silicon found in the Radeon RX 9070 series. It can deliver 1440p resolutions, FSR 4 ML-enhanced upscaling, and accelerated ray tracing for gaming.
Users will have a pick between 8GB and 16GB of VRAM. With FSR 4, the GPU can deliver smoother framerates and better quality using the power of AI technology. You won’t need the beefiest computer just to maximize what the GPU can do.
As always, the chipset will eventually land on the laps of AMD’s major partners including Acer, ASUS, and Gigabyte. Currently, we don’t know how much these partnered chips will cost. However, AMD confirms that the recommended price of the series will start at only US$ 299 for the 8GB variant and US$ 349 for the 16GB variant.
