All iPhone 15 models will have the Dynamic Island
According to early rumor
It’s never too early for a rumor cycle to start up. Though Apple just released the iPhone 14 series a few weeks ago, a few rumors are already heralding the coming of next year’s iPhone 15 series. One such rumor swirls around one of the iPhone 14 Pro’s most important features, the Dynamic Island.
According to a tweet from analyst Ross Young, the iPhone 14 Pro’s display will soon make its way to the iPhone’s regular duo. All four iPhone 15 models will reportedly have the Dynamic Island starting next year. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the 120Hz LTPO screen. While the Dynamic Island should be fair game, Apple is still keeping some cards exclusive to the two Pro variants.
Yes, Dynamic Island expected on standard models on the 15. Still not expecting 120Hz/LTPO on standard models as supply chain can’t support it.

Amid the fanfare received by the Dynamic Island, only the two iPhone 14 Pro models are getting the feature. The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus still has the same camera notch from previous years.
In addition to the form factor, another set of rumors (from LeaksApplePro) hints that Apple will replace the Pro Max with the Ultra next year. Currently, the company uses the Ultra moniker for its rugged Apple Watch variant. If applied to the iPhone, Apple can further delineate the top model from the other three.
-New naming scheme: 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Ultra.
The 6.7-inch iPhone 15 “Pro” will be called Ultra and be differentiated a bit more, and that includes pricing. I expect it to start at $1199 at best. I’ll have more specific info about features closer to release.— LeaksApplePro (@LeaksApplePro) September 19, 2022
The same source also says that USB-C is coming to the entire series starting next year, dropping the proprietary Lightning cable for good.
While early leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, some of the above have been reported before. The rumors have a sense of credibility to them. Still, things can change between now and next year.

The pandemic turned facemasks into a fashion trend. While most brands fought over who could present the most stylish way to protect yourself from the virus, tech companies rushed to pack the most features into a light wearable. Because the pandemic introduced health risks that the world barely understood, most of these products aren’t the safest around. Now, years after introducing its RGB-infused mask, Razer finds itself in trouble over disproven claims.
In 2021, Razer introduced the Zephyr. It was cyberpunk-looking facemask that supposedly carried N95 filters. Over the years, the company failed to have its claims certified. What’s worse, critics analyzed the product and found that the filters did not, in fact, keep 95 percent of particles away. (That’s why an N95 mask is named as such.)
Today, the Federal Trade Commission is asking over US$ 1.1 million in refunds to customers who purchased a Zephyr in the past. According to the proposal, Razer misled consumers by claiming the mask had N95 filters. The company also never submitted the product for testing. Though Razer eventually removed the claims, it wasn’t enough.
Additionally, the proposal is seeking US$ 100,000 in damages and a ban on Razer from selling and marketing any further health-inspired products in the future.
