Grab PayLater lets you pay for transactions as a monthly bill

Available with 0% interest and perks for every transaction!

Published

on

What if you could consolidate all your transactions and pay them once on a monthly basis? The idea here is simple: you pay for anything you fancy, and the bill comes later as a single monthly bill. Grab is doing just that with the introduction of PayLater, a new payment method available to top-tier and long-time users.

Through PayLater, users can use different services like GrabCar, GrabFood, GrabMart, and GrabExpress and never have to worry about paying upfront. For now, it is available to top-tier and long-time users who regularly use Grab and have significant transactions in the app. Qualified users will see the feature as a payment option alongside cash, GrabPay and other enrolled credit cards. Users will have to click and subscribe to PayLater before they can activate it.

After activation, they will be given a pre-approved spending limit which shall be refreshed upon payment of the balance. Depending on what day they activated PayLater, users will have to settle their balance within seven days after the 1st or 15th day of the month.

Users who want to avoid “bill shock” can track their transactions within the app. They can navigate to the PayLater section and view their current spending, available balance, and history of their transactions. They can also opt to receive regular payment notifications to avoid late fees. And they may want to avoid late payments since the fee is a hefty 3.99 percent addition to their balance.

Zero percent interest, plus perks for transactions

The best part about PayLater is that it is available with zero percent interest. There are no hidden fees too except for the minor 3.99 percent processing fee on the consolidated bill. Grab is also giving out rewarding bonus to those who activated PayLater for the first time. As a plus, users can also earn reward points for every transaction done through PayLater.

Interested users may know more about the feature by checking out their Grab app today or visiting the website.
