TECNO Computex 2024

TECNO continues to solidify its presence in Asia and beyond. At the Computex 2024 event in Taiwan, the mobile manufacturer once again showcased some of its tech head-turners, including the CAMON 30 Premier 5G, Pocket Go, MINI PC G1, and Megabook T16 Pro Ultra.

The company’s first robotic dog, the Dynamic 1, also made an appearance once more. TECNO’s booth is located at #Q0223a, Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Their products will be on display until June 7, 2024.

TECNO Pocket Go

A Red Dot 2024 Product Design Award winner, the TECNO Pocket Go combines AR glasses and gaming handheld into one package. It has a top-tier AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS gaming processor, and a laptop-level cooling system. The futuristic experience may be enhanced further by having the Windows handheld connect to TECNO smartphones and computers.

Dynamic 1

Introduced at other gatherings earlier in the year, the TECNO Dynamic 1 is the brand’s robotic dog that features AI interaction capabilities. It resembles a German Shepherd, fitting modern homes well as a digital alternative to pets. It is made of materials that allow powerful torque for functionalities like jumping, climbing stairs, and responding to commands.

The Dynamic 1 is fitted with an AI HyperSense Fusion System for stable movement. It features an Intel RealSense D430 depth camera, dual optical sensors, infrared sensors, and a headlight system in front.

Furthermore, the robotic dog features four microphones and AI-driven voice recognition algorithms to respond to voice commands. It can be controlled by smartphone apps and remote controllers for greater flexibility.

AI PCs, smart manager

Also highlighting TECNO’s Computex booth are the MINI PC G1 and Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra. The MINI PC G1 is the world’s smallest water-cooled gaming PC, which also features a dedicated graphics card along with high-performing processors and GPUs. This space-saving PC can deliver up to 5.4GHz of power, and supports configurations of up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD storage.

On the other hand, the TECNO Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra is the company’s first AI PC. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor to support AI experiences like Al Image Generation and Al Copilot.

Inside, the device has a 99Wh battery for long usage periods while delivering exceptional speed and performance. It likewise supports up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage.

To make the management of TECNO devices better, TECNO is also introducing device collaboration for its laptops and smartphones. This streamlines the workflow for users who have such devices. Among its features are OneLeap Seamless Connection, Multi-screen Collaboration, Data Sharing, and Files Management. This solution also ensures maximum security.

CAMON 30 Premier 5G

Lastly, the TECNO CAMON 30 Premier 5G is the company’s bet when it comes to smartphones with AI capabilities. This phone supports video calling and imaging with enhanced AI features like AIGC Portrait, AI Erase, Social App Turbo, and Universal Tone.

Moreover, the CAMON 30 Premier LOEWE Edition makes its debut at the exhibition. This handset boasts of an innovative coffee grounds back cover and a striking green color blocking design, giving visitors a firsthand feel of the phone’s stylish and eco-friendly look.

Shell’s suite of tools and accessories get you ready for any drive

My love for Shell and sustainable energy began six years ago, when they released the Make The Future campaign.

I played their ads on loop, starting to understand their energy initiatives. All while I sang along to “On Top of the World” and “Best Day Of My Life” performed by various artists.

On my last day at COMPUTEX 2024, I stumbled upon TennRich Corporation. The company is an official Shell product licensee, showcasing its power supplies by grilling a BBQ inside the Nangang Exhibition Center.

Hanging around at the seemingly BBQ indoor party, I got to learn that Shell’s products have expanded to power banks, wireless solutions, and on-the-go lifestyle products.

Power Supply Stations with Solar Charging

Shell currently has a lot of portable power supply stations applicable for various situations. For most people, it’s used for camping to supply all the power needs when outdoor.

Each portable power supply has a high power capacity while still weighing only 8.9kg. It’s designed to be portable and easy to store or hide, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Since it has an all-around use, it works as a charger for drones, electric scooters, home and car appliances within 1100W, and even medical equipment.

Some models also have support for solar panel, continuing Shell’s initiative for renewable energy.

For your on-the-go lifestyle

As an energy brand, Shell has various charging cables and wall chargers that suit different sockets.

They also come with car chargers so you can power your devices while in transit.

For those stationed in front of a desk, Shell has a 100W GaN Desktop Charger with multiple ports.

And of course, what’s an energy brand without a power bank?

Ready for any drive

As a trusted brand for most motorists, Shell’s suite of automotive tools are my new favorite devices. This portable air compressor has a small, carry-on design that uses an intelligent electric pump. It automatically stops when full!

It’s particularly helpful as a rescue tool for those using a motorcycle or bike in an island.

When driving a car, Shell also has a portable power jump starter in case of emergency. It supports power for 7L gasoline vehicles and 3L diesel vehicles, and features an SOS light display.

It’s housed inside a travel bag for easy carrying, and you can stash it easily with other emergency tools.

Now, there’s a 4-in-1 portable air compressor and jump starter for those who want it all.

There’s also a car vacuum to keep your vehicles clean!
