Watching movies everywhere is much easier today. If you want to watch something while on a trip, just pop out Netflix on your phone. However, viewers who want better video and audio quality need more complicated setups to take their films on the go. XGIMI, improving on its previous design, has launched a convenient solution with its new MoGo 2 series of projectors.

Looking at both projectors in the series, the series looks more like a speaker than a projector. However, its smaller size allows for more portability, allowing users to take the projector and watch movies everywhere they go.

And, despite the tiny figure, both projectors pack a lot of technology. The series has a color gamut coverage of up to 90 percent of the DCI-P3 range. Plus, it deploys the D65 color temperature standard, widely used by Hollywood today. With these technologies, the projectors should be color-accurate for today’s movies.

For sound, the projectors tout 8W speakers, capable of a variety of different modes, depending on what you are watching.

The regular MoGo 2 sports Smart ISA (or Intelligent Screen Adaptation) 1.0, which automatically adjusts and refocuses the image, depending on the surface. On the other hand, the Pro model sports Smart ISA 2.0. The improved standard has better surface detection and carefully dims the projector’s glare when a person or a pet passes through the beam of light.

Both projectors will put out images with 400 ISO lumens. However, the regular MoGo 2 will project in 720p resolution. Meanwhile, the MoGo 2 Pro shows images in 1080p resolution.

Plus, the new series can now get power from a power bank.

The series will start shipping on April 25. The MoGo 2 retails for US$ 399. The MoGo 2 Pro retails for US$ 599. Preorders are available now.

He-Man returns in live-action Masters of the Universe

Opens in Philippine cinemas in June 2026

Legendary hero He-Man is set to return to the big screen in the live-action film Masters of the Universe. The film arrives in Philippine cinemas in June 2026.

Nicholas Galitzine stars as Prince Adam. He returns to his home world of Eternia after 15 years to find it under the rule of the evil Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. To save his family and his world, Adam must reclaim the Sword of Power and embrace his destiny as He-Man.

Directed by Travis Knight, the film also stars Camila Mendes as Teela and Idris Elba as Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms. The cast includes Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, and Charlotte Riley, with Kristin Wiig providing the voice of Roboto.

Masters of the Universe opens in Philippine cinemas in June 2026.
