Yeedi S16 Plus: A working mom’s best friend

Certified household companion

Published

on

As a working mom of two young children — with no helper at home — life often feels like a whirlwind. Between work, chores, and making sure my kids are cared for, finding time to breathe can be a challenge. That’s why the Yeedi S16 Plus has been a game-changer in our household. It doesn’t just clean; it gives me back precious time to focus on what truly matters — my family.

There are so many features I love about the Yeedi S-16 Plus, but here are my top seven reasons why it has become my reliable partner in homemaking:

1)  Powerful Cleaning

Yeedi S16 Plus

With 16,600Pa suction power and the BLAST Airflow Suction System, the Yeedi S-16 Plus is both efficient and surprisingly quiet. It easily captures dust, pet fur, and everyday messes from both hard floors and carpets. For me, this means a cleaner home and fewer allergy triggers for my kids — and that makes all the difference.

2) Triple Lift System

The Yeedi S-16 Plus automatically lifts its roller mop, side brush, and main brush as it moves across different surfaces. No more stopping to manually adjust settings! This prevents smearing on hard floors and keeps carpets dry, so I can let it do its thing while I focus on mine.

3) Self-Washing Mop

Yeedi S16 Plus

This feature has saved me countless hours. The OZMO roller instant self-washing technology continuously rinses itself during mopping, ensuring it isn’t just spreading dirty water around. Plus, with the OMNI Station’s hot-water washing, drying, and solution dispensing, I know my floors are truly clean and safe for little hands (and feet!) crawling around.

4) Smart Navigation

Thanks to its AIVI 3D 3.0 Omni-Approach Technology, this robot vacuum can identify and avoid obstacles in real time. It navigates corners and tight spots with ease, without constantly bumping into furniture or getting stuck. I love that I don’t have to clear every little thing from the floor before running it.

5) Adaptive Edge Cleaning

The TruEdge 2.0 Adaptive Edge Cleaning system ensures even corners and edges get the attention they deserve. The roller mop extends to reach tricky spots, providing maximum coverage without collisions — perfect for those hard-to-reach areas that normally need extra effort.

6) Designed with Kids and Pets in Mind

Yeedi S16 Plus

Between long hair (mine!) and pet hair, tangles used to be a nightmare. The Zero Tangle 3.0 Anti-Tangle System solves this by preventing hair from wrapping around the brushes. It even has a built-in child-lock mode, so my little ones can’t accidentally stop it mid-cycle.

7) Gentle Reminders

With so many things on a mom’s plate, I appreciate the app’s cleaning prompts and reminders. It tells me which parts need attention or maintenance, so I don’t have to keep track — the vacuum does it for me.

The Yeedi S16 Plus is a household companion

We think Levi the cat likes the Yeedi S16 Plus

Overall, the Yeedi S16 Plus isn’t just a vacuum; it’s a household companion. From deep cleaning to self-maintenance, it truly lightens my daily load and helps keep our home safe, clean, and cozy.

The Yeedi S-6 Plus is available on Amazon for USD 1,399.90 — and honestly, for the peace of mind and time it gives back, it’s worth every cent.

The Hisense 116-inch TV is here to make your home feel like a private theater

Who needs a movie ticket when your TV can outshine the cinema?

Published

on

If your idea of a good night in involves snacks, streaming, and a screen that practically swallows your wall, Hisense might have built your fantasy.

Meet the Hisense 116-inch Class UX Series RGB-MiniLED TV, the world’s biggest of its kind now lighting up the Philippines.

Revealed at Anson’s The Link in Makati, this colossal screen made its debut to gasps and wide eyes. Because when you see it, “big” feels like an understatement.

The world’s biggest

This isn’t just size for show. The UX Series uses RGB-MiniLED technology, where red, green, and blue LEDs live right behind the panel to give you truer colors, deeper contrast, and lifelike brightness.

Think: every explosion in an action scene or sunset in a K-drama glowing with 3D color control and over 20,000 local dimming zones.

It even hits up to 8,000 nits of peak brightness. Basically, daylight in a TV.

Behind the screen’s magic is the Hi-View AI Engine X, Hisense’s powerhouse brain that constantly tweaks and refines your content.

Movies look sharper, motion stays buttery-smooth, and sound feels more realistic, all thanks to its faster CPU, GPU, and NPU.

The TV’s AI Picture and AI Sound work like your invisible home theater crew. It boosts dialogue clarity, balances acoustics, and makes every scene sound as good as it looks.

And when you’re switching between Netflix or game nights, AI Scenario automatically adjusts everything so it always looks on point. Also, AI Energy keeps it eco-friendly by fine-tuning brightness.

During the launch, Hisense also took the chance to do something meaningful, supporting the Cultural Center of the Philippines with brand-new TVs to help promote local art, film, and theater.

The Hisense 116-inch Class UX Series RGB-MiniLED is now available at Anson’s The Link Makati for a promo price of PhP 1,249,999 (cash), with a PhP 1,999,999 SRP.

For the premium home cinema experience

TCL X11K QD-Mini LED TV

TCL elevates their flagship TV category with the all-new X11K and C8K — their latest and greatest premium line of QD-Mini LED TVs.

Backed by TCL CSOT’s cutting-edge backlight precision, exceptional brightness, and industry-leading color accuracy, both of these models are designed for the ultimate home cinema experience.

TCL’s very own QD-Mini LED technology combines the strengths of both QLED and OLED as it merges traditional backlight into lighting with pixel-level precision.

The Chinese company’s state-of-the-art display technology delivers unparalleled viewing experience with ultra-high peak brightness, contrast, and color gamut — all while ensuring an ultra-long lifespan in the long run.

X11K: Full-on Flagship

First shown at the CES 2025 show floor, the all-new flagship TCL X11K pushes the limits of display tech even further. This premium QD-Mini LED TV boasts an astounding peak brightness of up to 6500 nits.

TCL AiPQ Pro Processor

And, being part of TCL’s Precise Dimming Series, it’s a no-brainer that the X11K offers a plethora of local dimming zones of up to 14,112.

TCL CSOT Precise Dimming

Managed by TCL CSOT’s revolutionary All-domain Halo Control Technology, it completely eliminates unwanted halo for a crystal clear viewing experience.

Moreover, there’s also a CrystGlow HVA panel that minimizes reflections and enhances contrast for comfortable viewing no matter what lighting condition you have at home.

Found within is TCL’s AiPQ Pro Processor which fine-tunes each and every detail and setting using TCL’s advanced AI Algorithms.

Paired with speakers powered by the renowned audio-maker Bang & Olufsen along their Beosonic music feature, expect rich cinema-grade sound even without the presence of home theatre sound system.

TCL COST Super Micro-OD

Despite this beast of a TV, it has managed to acquire its signature “flat-thin design” that enables it to seamlessly blend into your wall like a painting masterpiece.

That ultra-thinness was ultimately thanks to TCL’s infusion of Super Micro-OD paired with a self-developed Super Condensed Micro Lens and a powerful light-emitting chip in constrat to conventional QD-Mini LED TVs of other leading brands.

C8K: The Follow-Up

The TCL C8K is neither a slouch. This follow-up QD-Mini LED TV offers an impressive 4500 nits of peak brightness. Moreover, local dimming zones are still plentiful at 3840.

Unlike the X11K, the C8K features an even more enhanced CrystGlow WHVA Panel. This provides an ultra-high native contrast ratio and virtually zero-border design for pure immersiveness.

It also increased ultra-wide color viewing angle by 40%, has super low reflectivity, and high in energy-efficiency.

For context, TCL’s HVA and WHVA panels are above the quality against the standard VA as well as conventional and high-end IPS panels in the market.

Paired with TCL’s QLED tech, it achieves even greater heights of color-accuracy — up to 97% of DCI-P3 wide color gamut to be precise.

TCL CSOT QLED

While it still possesses the same Super Micro Condensed Lens and light-emitting chip, it’s slightly different with its Micro-OD Lens (vs X11K’s “Super” Micro-OD).

Technically, it’s a tad thicker than the former — but it still manages to have a less than 60mm slim body and an overall redefined design. Wall-mounted or not, it will still look seamless regardless.

TCL C8K QD-Mini LED TV

It’s powered by the TSR AiPQ Processor that enables four AiMaster algorithms paired with speakers that are rich in sound thanks to B&O.

It’s also good to note that both models have a Native Refresh Rate of up to 144Hz for the best and smoothest gameplay possible.

Pricing and Availability

As of this writing, both the TCL X11K and C8K have no definite pricing nor specific regional availability.

However, what’s certain are their display size offerings: The TCL C8K ranges between 65, 75, 85, and 98-inches — ditching the 55 and 115-inch variants of its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the TCL X11K is available in either 85 or 98-inch models.

APEX: The New Standard

As introduced last year, TCL CSOT continues to set new benchmarks for innovation with their newest APEX platform. This new display innovation standard will be built on four pillars:

  1. A – mazing Display Experience
  2. P – rotective of Eye Health
  3. E – co-friendly to Build and Use, and;
  4. X – Unlimited Imaginative Potential

TCL C8K QD-Mini LED TV

APEX will then be the guide for the development of TCL’s next-gen displays with a comprehensive portfolio that will redefine not just the user’s experience, but also keep in mind its sustainability and infinite possibilities in their TVs’ overall form factor.

All thanks to these breakthroughs, TCL CSOT remains committed in bringing excellence that will lead and change the industry even further through product innovation and more strategic upgrades in the near future.

These Dyson drops are the home upgrades you didn’t know you needed

Yes, we’re adding Dyson to the wishlist, and you should too!

Dyson surely knows how to make an entrance.

At IFA 2025 in Berlin, James Dyson himself arrived in a vintage Mini before pulling the cover off a lineup of new and re-engineered gadgets.

From supercharged hair tools to whisper-quiet purifiers, these are the pieces that prove Dyson is still the gold standard in making everyday life feel smarter and sleeker.

Dyson Airwrap Coanda 2x

Meet your new vanity essential. The Airwrap Coanda 2x takes the cult-favorite multi-styler and cranks it up with Dyson’s fastest hair care motor yet.

With 6-in-1 versatility through drying, curling, waving, straightening, smoothing, and volumizing, it’s like having an entire glam team tucked into one sleek wand, minus the heat damage.

Dyson Supersonic r

Smaller, lighter, and even stronger, the Supersonic r is Dyson’s most powerful hair dryer to date.

Its chic 38mm body is a statement in itself, but the real magic is how it dries fast while keeping strands shiny and smooth.

Attachments automatically adjust airflow and heat, so your at-home blowout feels like a salon moment every time.

Dyson V8 Cyclone

The vacuum that started a movement just got an upgrade!

The V8 Cyclone cordless vacuum now has more suction, more runtime, and a hot-swappable battery so cleaning marathons feel less like a workout.

Add a new triggerless button and three easy modes, and you’ve got a machine that’s as efficient as it is effortless.

Dyson V16 Piston Animal

Think of this as the heavyweight champ of vacuums. The V16 Piston Animal deep cleans every corner, picks up long hair without tangling, and even washes floors with its upgraded Submarine roller.

With a bin that holds up to 30 days of dust, it’s built for those who want their home to sparkle without constant emptying.

Dyson HushJet Purifier Compact

Who knew purifiers could be powerful and quiet? The HushJet is engineered to deliver whole-room purification while staying whisper soft, down to 24 dB in Sleep mode!

Small but mighty, it’s perfect for bedrooms, work-from-home nooks, or anywhere you crave fresh air without the fan noise.

Dyson Spot+Scrub AI robot

This is not your average robot vacuum. The Spot+Scrub uses AI stain detection to go back over stubborn marks until they’re spotless, plus it vacuums and washes floors at the same time.

It even cleans itself as it goes! Consider it your tireless little roommate who insists on tidiness.

Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene

Wet cleaning, but make it hygienic. This lightweight cleaner ditches dirty filters in favor of a roller that refreshes with every pass, leaving floors streak-free and fresh. With a self-cleaning cycle, it’s as low-maintenance as it is effective.

Dyson PencilVac

Slimmer than your favorite tumbler at just 38mm, the PencilVac is Dyson’s most minimalist vacuum yet. It glides under low furniture, tackles mess in every direction, and still flexes laser dust detection. Proof that cleaning tools can double as design objects.

Dyson Cool CF1 and Dyson Hot+Cool HF1

Dyson’s bladeless icons are back with smart new tricks.

The Cool CF1 fan brings app-connected cooling with refined oscillation, while the Hot+Cool HF1 heats rooms faster and quieter than ever. These bring comfort and control, all from your phone.

Dyson Omega Nourishing Range

Yes, Dyson is doing haircare and it’s dreamy.

The Omega range blends seven omega-rich oils (including sunflower oil from Dyson’s own farms) into a hydrating hair oil and leave-in spray. It’s glossy, healthy hair bottled up, powered by a mix of science and sustainability.
