This is our first look at this year’s iPhones

Underwhelmingly the same

Despite their ad infinitum yearly release schedule, Apple’s iPhones remain the world’s most-anticipated smartphones every year. After all the rumors, this year’s anticipation seems well-founded especially with three differently positioned models coming.

Compiling all the rumors, Apple will supposedly launch three iPhones this year. This lineup includes a regular 5.8-inch iPhone, affordable 6.1-inch iPhone, and premium 6.5-inch iPhone. Beside these, the rumors foretell stranger features — an LCD downgrade, curved screens, and triple cameras.

Now, renowned leaker Ben Geskin has released the world’s first look at the fabled three. Or two of them, at least.

Portraying the 6.1-inch and the 6.5-inch model, the leaked images both confirm and debunk long-standing rumors about the models.

First off, images of the more affordable 6.1-inch iPhone seemingly confirm that the model will rock an LCD screen. The pictured phone has decidedly thicker bezels than its larger counterpart.

This year’s downshift to LCD indicates a move to build a midrange beast, similar to the iPhone SE. In addition to this, the phone’s rear carries only one camera, contrary to the previous dual-camera setup. With that, you can expect more cost-cutting measures when the iPhone launches.

Meanwhile, leaks of the 6.5-inch model hint that the iPhone X line is here to stay. Geskin has attached an “iPhone X Plus” tag on the beast. Sadly, the leaked image does not show more than its 6.1-inch counterpart.

It looks eerily similar to the already-released iPhone X. If anything, the leak debunks the rumor that the iPhone X sequel will boast a triple-camera setup. The image depicts dual rear cameras like the phone’s predecessor.

Geskin’s popularity gives this leak a modicum of believability. However, to know more, we’ll have to wait for Apple’s official launch which should happen within the next few months.

Osmo Pocket 4 makes a surprising appearance in public

Is the built-in light real?

Published

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 might be the most popular camera in recent history. The tiny action camera constantly sells out, thanks to creators and would-be vloggers. Because of the current generation’s popularity, everyone is looking forward to the next-generation Osmo Pocket 4. Though it’s still unannounced, the new camera has suddenly made a surprising appearance out in the wild.

The leak shockingly comes from an authorized DJI retailer in Kuala Lumpur. Supposedly, a customer entered the store with what they claimed was an Osmo Pocket 4. The store, DronesKaki, even shot a now-deleted video of the unannounced camera, rescued by New Camera.

Based solely on the short video, the Osmo Pocket 4 looks and feels very familiar to those who’ve already used the Pocket 3. The three-axis gimbal system still keeps shots in place for taking videos while on the move. The 2-inch rotating screen looks identical to the current one, especially because of intuitive settings and controls.

However, the biggest standout is the built-in LED light sitting atop the camera. Despite how convenient and easy to use it is, the Pocket 3 doesn’t exactly shine in low-light conditions, prompting users to always bring an external flash. If the leak is true, the Osmo Pocket 4 cures this issue to some extent. (Built-in flashes aren’t usually standout solutions, but they can work in a pinch.)

Still, take the leak with a grain of salt. Though the store could have deleted the video because of a request from DJI, they could have also deleted it because it’s not the Osmo Pocket 4. At this point, we won’t know, but current rumors speculate that the camera is launching soon.

ACMobility Launches ChargeFleet: Seamless solution for businesses

B2B solution for corporate fleets and transport groups

Published

Ayala Group’s ACMobility has launched ChargeFleet, a new B2B digital solution for corporate fleets and transport groups.

The new service introduces a shareable digital wallet that streamlines charging expenses, reduces manual tracking, and improves cost control.

As more organizations explore electrifying their mobility operations, many continue to face operational challenges — including fragmented payment systems, reimbursement delays, and limited visibility over charging usage.

ChargeFleet addresses these gaps by introducing a centralized, shareable digital wallet. Here, fleet managers can allocate and monitor charging credits across multiple drivers across a single platform.

The system is a seamless process designed for long-term usage and easy deployment across any organization.

Once integrated, ACMobility assigns charging credits to the client’s fleet manager. The manager then can distribute these to multiple drivers. Meanwhile, the latter will be able to see and use their assigned credits via the Evro app.

ChargeFleet is available as a prepaid product through the ChargeFleet Store. Users can buy offers via GCash or credit card. No application process is required.

Looking ahead, ACMobility will continue to enhance the ChargeFleet experience with exclusive value-added perks integrated through Evro and Power on Wheels.

The upcoming features highlight ACMobility’s ongoing push to provide a future-proof support system for the evolving needs of their customers’ businesses.

Nothing confirms Phone (4a) launch by trolling Apple

Work smarter, not harder.

Published

By now, you’ve probably heard of Apple’s and Google’s irreverent advertising campaigns. For example, Apple used to claim that the iPhone is much more secure than an Android. Google, on the other hand, made fun of Apple for adopting new features way behind the curve. Now, a new challenger has entered the battlefield. Nothing has officially confirmed the Phone (4a) by essentially jumping on the hype for the next Apple event.

Recently, Apple released a very interesting invite for an unexpected event on March 4. It was interesting because of its unconventional timing and the recent rumor of a new entry-level MacBook. Naturally, there’s a lot of hype heading into March.

Apropos the brand’s usual marketing strategies, Nothing has released an invite of its own, confirming the launch of the launch of the Phone (4a) on March 5, a day after Apple’s event.

Of course, we’ve known about the Phone (4a) for a while now, thanks to Carl Pei’s own words last month. The more interesting bit is the invite itself.

Rather than bringing out its usual fashion-oriented aesthetics, Nothing just used Apple’s invite and literally spray-painted “Nothing” and “5 March” in neon pink letters.

It’s definitely an unconventional way to hype an event. Then again, everyone’s already excited for Apple, anyway. So it’s a case of “work smarter, not harder,” albeit straddling the fine line of ethical considerations.
