Acer announces the brand new Swift X

Acer unveiled the Swift Xthe latest addition to the Swift line. This ultrabook is designed for convenience and engineered for power. It really makes sense for these devices to go slim, as convenience is a must for everybody.

Specs and hardware

The all-new Acer Swift X is not only a slim device, but it also packs a punch. The laptop has the AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU. Additionally, the Laptop GPU is based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture. Also combined with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U Mobile Processor and 16GB of RAM.

Every single piece of hardware is fitted into a metal chassis that’s just 17.9mm thin. The specs cater to content creators, streamers, and creative professionals. The SSD storage can be enhanced up to 2TB.

Speaking of hardware, the Swift X also has an air inlet keyboard,it expels up to 10 percent more heat to maximize cooling. A stereo ring fan pulls in the air with an inclined plane fan, giving more airflow to the laptop. Lastly, it also has multiple cooling modes, press Fn+F to choose from silent, standard, or performance.

The battery is capable of 17 hours of use depending on your usage. The charging of this laptop supports the fast-charging 59W battery.

Display and ports

Going to the front of the laptop, you will be greeted with the 14-inch FHD IPS display with an 85.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness, and 100 percent sRGB. Having said this, the laptop is also capable of editing 4K video and photographs with precision and accuracy. It also includes a fingerprint sensor, a really secure way of unlocking your device. There will also be an array of USB Type-C ports that ensures ultra-fast data transfers. Wi-Fi 6 is also available so this means Wi-Fi connectivity will be a strong point for this laptop.

This laptop is a quiet one as its fans have 59 0.3mm blades and a pair of D6 copper heat pipes to regulate temperature. AI-enhanced noise suppression is also available, meaning you will have clearer video calls and Acer BlueLightShield to protect you from eye strain during long hours of work.
