Apple is selling Mac Pro wheels for US$ 699
More expensive than an iPhone
Today, Apple finally launched the much-awaited sequel to the 2016 iPhone SE. As with the first budget-oriented iPhone, the new iPhone SE is boasting its affordable price, especially for an Apple device. It costs only US$ 399.
Of course, despite the more attractive price point, Apple still has the unfortunate reputation for its absurdly expensive devices. Not long after the iPhone SE’s launch, the company has a pricier device for you to sink more money on.
Starting today, you can purchase wheels and feet for your Mac Pro. In the unlikely event that you need tow lug your heavy Mac around, Apple has your wheels covered for the low, low price of US$ 699. If you need to keep it from moving around, the separate feet kit costs US$ 299.
If, however, you want a cheaper price for your wheels, Apple is also offering the kit for only US$ 400 if you buy a new Mac to boot.
Regardless of your preference, both wheels and feet fall on the deeper end of the price scale. As you can likely see, an iPhone SE is cheaper. In fact, most midrange phones are cheaper than the wheel kit. For another reference, car tires are also cheaper. It’ll take a chunk out of your wallet just to put your computer on wheels.
