Lenovo expands ThinkPad lineup for MWC 2023
Caters to all home offices
For MWC 2023, Lenovo has unveiled a flurry of devices for a hybrid workplace. Focusing mainly on the ThinkPad lineup, the brand’s new notebooks and devices cater to every market.
First up, the ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 features the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 processors, configurable memory of up to 64GB, and up to 2TB PCIe SSD. With Wi-Fi 6E, FHD camera, and Dolby Voice, the duo can appeal to most home offices.
Meanwhile, the ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 and ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 4 offer a variety of flexibility for those on the go. Both models feature a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED screen. As the Yoga nomenclature indicates, one model offers a more flexible form factor. Inside, the duo comes with the latest 13th-generation Intel Core processors with Iris X graphics. However, users can also get a version with AMD Ryzen 7000 and AMD Radeon 700M graphics.
For small businesses, Lenovo is also releasing the new ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 and the ThinkPad E16. Both can be configured with up to the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 processors and AMD Radeon 610M graphics. Further, they can carry up to 40GB in memory and up to 2TB in internal storage. They can carry up to 57Whr in battery life.
For a more versatile device, the IdeaPad Duet 3i features a larger 11.5-inch model with a 2K touchscreen display. It comes with the latest Intel N-series processors and 8.5 hours of battery life.
Price and availability
The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 arrives in July and will start at US$ 1,249. Meanwhile, the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 arrives in August, starting at US$ 1,749.
The ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 ships in May for US$ 1,099. Meanwhile, the ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 4 will start at US$ 1,379.
The ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 and ThinkPad E16 will ship in May, starting at US$ 739.
The IdeaPad Duet 3i will ship in the EMEA region in June, starting at EUR 449.
