7-Eleven and Pokémon have teamed up to bring a unique fan experience to the convenience store chain’s select branches in the Philippines.

The partnership was formally launched last September 13, 2024 via a ribbon-cutting ceremony in a 7-Eleven branch in Metro Manila.

Representatives from The Pokémon Company and Niantic Inc., the company behind Pokémon GO likewise attended the event.

As part of the partnership, customers can purchase special merch like trading cards and plush toys at select branches. The Trading Card Game Booster Packs are available in 1,500 stores nationwide.

Every purchase of the Booster Pack, which starts at PhP 259, also entitles buyers to receive a limited edition Pokémon 7-Eleven Promo Card.

Meanwhile, the 7-Eleven Centris 1 branch has also been made a PokéStop in Pokémon GO. This way, those who have the mobile game can channel the inner trainer in them.

Customers will also notice popular 7-Eleven products wrapped in Pokémon-themed packaging:

  • Crunch Time: Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur
  • 7-Fresh Siopao: Pikachu, Snorlax
  • Big Bite: Meowth
  • Fundae: Jigglypuff
  • GULP: Gyarados
  • City Cafe: Eevee, Flareon, and Jolteon for small, medium, and large cups, respectively
  • Prima: Umbreon

The themed packaging is currently available in Luzon island stores and will roll out across the country from October 2024.
