Reddit Answers now in the Philippines, Singapore, more countries

AI-powered interface designed to make search experience on Reddit better

Published

Reddit Answers has officially expanded to more countries across the globe, including Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.

The AI-powered interface lets Redditors ask questions and receive answers in a conversational manner. Users can access it via desktop (beta), Android, and iOS.

Unlike generic AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok, Reddit’s own platforms leverages vast data within the Reddit site.

The AI engine is designed to scour existing content from communities and posts, hence making Reddit Answers more community-driven. Of course, Reddit itself is a website where most users seek answers to questions, to begin with.

With Reddit Answers, once a question is asked, curated summaries of relevant conversations and details across Reddit will appear. Links to related communities and posts will also be shown.

Redditors can also easily read relevant snippets and answers inline from real Redditors, jump into the full conversations, or go deeper in their search with follow-up questions.

Answers debuted in December 2024. The rollout was initially for a limited number of users in the United States. English is the only supported language so far.

The platform is part of Reddit’s commitment to improve the search experience on Reddit in general by making it faster, smarter, and more relevant.

At this year’s CES 2026 in Las Vegas, TCL CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology) and Lenovo have further proved their long-term partnership. The newest Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Concept and the motorola razr fold are equipped with displays by TCL CSOT.

Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Concept

The continuous collaboration of the two mighty Chinese companies bring out something that has been envisioned in laptops for quite a while now.

Ever imagined of a conventional laptop with standard 16:9 display that can instantly stretch into a 21:9 widescreen monitor? Well, the Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Concept proves it’s more than possible.

Pioneering this partnership starts with TCL CSOT’s rollable display. Dubbed as the Lenovo PureSight OLED Gaming display. From a regular 16-inch 16:9 display, it completely transforms into an ultra-wide screen — stretching between 21.5 all the way to 24 inches.

For gamers and even e-sports athletes who seek visual flexibility (literally and figuratively), the display adapts to three (3) different training phases.

  • Focus Mode (16 inches) for honing reflexes
  • Tactical Mode (21.5 inches) for enhanced situational awareness
  • Arena Mode (24 inches) for full-scale competitive simulation

Behind that rollable display tech by TCL CSOT lies a dual-motor, tension-based system. This not only means that the rollable display can unroll smoothly, the expansion is not just controlled, its contraction also delivers minimal vibration and noise.

There’s also a dedicated tensioning mechanism that ensures consistent tautness across the OLED panel. Low-friction materials then secures durability throughout the rolling cycle.

Finally, after a long wait, motorola finally unveils their first-ever book-style foldable.

The motorola razr fold headlines TCL CSOT’s 8.1-inch 2K LTPO flexible inner display. And unlike most foldable offerings in the market today, it supports a stylus!

When closed, its 6.6-inch external display delivers the familiarity of a candy-bar smartphone. Furthermore, its sleek, striking, and slim silhouette will feel comfortable in one’s hands.

Not much has been shared but more details will soon be unfolded by motorola.

The Co-Innovation Legacy

The steady legacy of TCL CSOT and Lenovo has already delivered consumer-ready products past the convention center show floor showcase.

Those include the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i with a flexible 4K OLED display unveiled at CES 2025. Even the motorola razr 60 series flip-style foldables launched last July 2025 was not missed.

And, with the introduction of the Legion Pro Rollable Concept and the motorola razr fold, both companies continue to turn advanced display research into practical, user-focused products — setting new standards for performance, comfort, and sustainability.

With past display innovations, these newer advancements offer a more immersive viewing experience, better eye comfort, and flexiblility across various user applications.

This continuous collaboration highlights the companies shared commitment to advancing display technology and elevating the visual experience for users worldwide.

TCL CSOT’s constant strive for innovation is mainly driven by their APEX values:

  • A-mazing Display Experience
  • P-rotective of Eye Health
  • E-co-Friendly to build and use; and
  • X-Unlimited Imaginative Potential

Jun Zhao, the Senior Vice President of TCL Technology and CEO of TCL CSOT, states that the company is dedicated in providing Lenovo high-quality displays and custom diplay solutions that turn advanced technology into something  “We are dedicated to providing Lenovo with high-quality, custom display solutions that turn advanced technology into everyday excellence, and

He also says “they look forward to exploring new frontiers together.”

Dell admits AI PCs were a mistake

Though their PCs still have AI, the brand wants to focus away from the features.

Published

on

Despite how much some companies claim that everyone is embracing AI features with open arms, you will likely struggle to find a single user who bought a PC last year specifically because it features AI technology. Regardless, CES 2026 is still inundated with devices pushing more and more AI towards consumers. However, Dell is slowly realizing that AI PCs might not be the future they envisioned.

Via an interview with PC Gamer, Dell admitted that focusing on AI last year wasn’t the right strategy.

“We’re very focused on delivering upon the AI capabilities of a device — in fact everything that we’re announcing has an NPU in it — but what we’ve learned over the course of this year, especially from a consumer perspective, is they’re not buying based on AI,” says Kevin Terwilliger, Dell’s head of product.

To be fair, Dell is still shipping its PCs with AI inside. The products themselves haven’t really changed. However, the brand is realizing that an AI-first approach offers little value in the minds of users.

“In fact, I think AI probably confuses them more than it helps them understand a specific outcome,” he continued.

Last year, companies began a spirited push to sell AI features to everyone. Most laptops and smartphones began their spiels with whatever AI-infused gimmick they had. Though there have been trends, the number of teraflops a device can do isn’t on everyone’s priority list. Most might not even be able to explain what a “teraflop” is.

Of course, that’s not to say that AI isn’t useful. The technology can help improve performance and battery life. But those aren’t features that the current AI-fist push focuses on. Hopefully, Dell’s admission leads to a better discussion as to how prominent AI should be.

Meanwhile, the Ford Ranger lineup brings even more flexibility. The Ranger Wildtrak 4×2 comes with four months of free amortization, and the Ranger Sport 4×4 is offered with three months free.

More ways to save this January

Beyond deferred payments, Ford Philippines is extending a wide range of January offers that focus on value and flexibility.

The Ford Everest comes with cash savings of up to PhP 95,000 this month, alongside an all-in option priced at PhP 69,000 on select variants for customers seeking simpler entry costs.

Across the Ranger lineup, buyers can enjoy cash discounts reaching up to PhP 155,000 or opt for a PhP 69,000 all-in down payment on select variants.

The Ranger XLS AT remains one of the most accessible ways to enter the lineup, with a starting price of PhP 1,379,000.

Performance-focused customers can also take advantage of extended January offers for the Ford Raptor. Options include cash discounts or bundled savings with the 5-Star Care Package, depending on the variant.

Electrified and premium options

For drivers ready to explore electrified mobility, the Territory Hybrid Trend starts at PhP 1,399,000. This January, customers may choose between a PhP 20,000 discount or a complimentary three-year Scheduled Service Plan.

Ford’s larger SUVs are also part of the month’s offerings. The Ford Explorer is available with a PhP 99,000 all-in option or 0 percent interest with 20% down payment for 60 months. The Ford Bronco carries the same flexible choices, too.
