Smart offers the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ through new GigaX Plans

Just before the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ hit shelves in the Philippines, Smart released the list of postpaid plans for the latest Android flagships under their new GigaX Plans.

Both of the new Samsung phones will be available under the fresh postpaid plans of Smart which have more data allowance for video streaming. They’ll be available starting at GigaX Plan 599 all the way up to GigaX Plan 1999.

Each GigaX Plan has its corresponding inclusions for data, texts, and calls. Device cashouts also get cheaper if you get a higher-tier plan. Here’s the pricing table for the phones:

According to Smart, subscribers can avail of the Galaxy S9 for PhP 2,499/month which includes GigaX Plan 1499 and the PhP 1,000 monthly fee of the device. As for the bigger Galaxy S9+ (64GB), it’ll be for PhP 2,799/month which is also under GigaX Plan 1499 but has a slightly higher PhP 1,300 monthly device fee.

The telco also offers higher storage variants of the Galaxy S9+ at 128GB and 256GB, although the latter is only available during the pre-order period. Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple are the color options available.
