Xiaomi launches latest Dual Smart Cameras
The CW500 and C500 Dual Smart Cameras
Xiaomi has officially launched its latest Dual Smart Cameras: the Xiaomi CW500 and Xiaomi C500.
Both innovative smart home cameras bring unparalleled dual-lens coverage for users to monitor two different areas simultaneously.
Used with the Mi Home App, both cameras also provide seamless monitoring and advanced detection.
Both cameras are now available on the Xiaomi official Lazada and Shopee stores. The CW500 retails for PhP 3,479 while the C500 is priced at PhP 3,169.
Xiaomi CW500: Outdoor guardian
The Xiaomi CW500 Smart Outdoor Camera Dual gives a complete view of what matters — day and night.
It can stream two live feeds from the Mi Home App. One is a steady, fixed-angle view while the other is a dynamic Pan-Tilt-Zoom lens to check specific angles.
The camera has a crisp 2.5K resolution and large f/1.6 aperture for clear detail. Four smart white lights also automatically turn on when the sun goes down for full-color night vision.
The dynamic camera can effortlessly pan horizontally and tilt 95 degrees vertically for complete control right from users’ smartphones.
The CW500 also supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for faster speeds and smoother streaming.
Other features include IP66 rating, a built-in high-sensitivity microphone, and a powerful speaker.
Xiaomi C500: Indoor eye
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Dual is ideal for indoor use. It provides comprehensive coverage and smart features, and can be mounted upright or inverted.
It has dual 4MP lenses for a clear view of one’s space, with both cameras offering a 110-degree ultra-wide angle perspective. The smart PTZ camera also supports a detailed close-up focus.
Together, these AI-powered dual cameras work to track movement and give users a split-screen view of everything.
The PTZ lens can also automatically zoom in and follow motion detected by the fixed camera.
Moreover, the C500 has pet detection and tracking, as well as real-time crying baby detection with instant alerts.
Users can also set virtual fence areas for the fixed camera so it triggers alerts for enhanced surveillance in key spaces.
Furthermore, the C500 has enhanced infrared night vision without any disruptive red lights for clear visuals in the dark.
It likewise supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and users can easily control with “OK, Google” and “Alexa” commands.

Good hair day, every day: Laifen officially arrives in the Philippines
With smart, stylish hair dryers for modern living
Laifen, the global brand known for precision engineering and minimalist design, is officially entering the Philippine market with a full lineup of high-speed, smart hair dryers built for everyday use.
Designed for people who want salon-level styling without the fuss, Laifen’s tools promise faster drying, safer heat control, and smoother finishes — whether you’re getting ready for work, heading out for dinner, or squeezing in a quick refresh between errands.
Since launching in 2019, Laifen has focused on creating efficient, design-led haircare tools that work for real life. Its devices have already reached more than 20 million users worldwide as of early 2025.
Now, Filipinos can finally experience the brand’s signature blend of power and care. Every model arriving locally comes equipped with smart heat monitoring and strong airflow, offering a balance of speed and protection for daily styling.
Compact, maximum performance: Laifen Mini
The Laifen Mini shows that a compact dryer doesn’t have to compromise on power. It runs on a next-gen 110,000 RPM motor that delivers fast drying while staying surprisingly quiet at just 61 dB.
Weighing only 299 grams (without nozzle and cord), it’s light enough for travel yet comfortable for full styling routines. Its Smart Temperature Control checks heat 100 times per second to protect hair, while a built-in Negative Ion Generator helps boost shine and reduce frizz.
There’s also a Child Mode for gentler drying sessions. Made from high-grade nylon with 30% fiberglass and a dual-layer magnetic filter, the Mini combines durability with hair-friendly tech.
The Laifen Mini retails for P5,799 SRP, but early shoppers can get it for P3,599 on Laifen’s official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok stores. Available in Green, Blue, and White.
Precision meets power: Laifen SE 2
The Laifen SE 2 builds on the strengths of its predecessor with even better performance for users who want more control when styling. Its 108,000 RPM motor pushes out 21.5 m/s airflow for quick, efficient drying.
Users can fine-tune their routine with 10 styling combinations: 2 airflow levels and 5 temperature settings. Heat is regulated 80 times per second to prevent damage, while its six-layer noise reduction system keeps sound levels at just 59 dB.
The Laifen SE 2 comes in White with an SRP of P7,499, now available at a limited-time price of P4,499 on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
Look good, spend less: Laifen SE Lite
The Laifen SE Lite proves that affordability can still feel premium. It’s lighter, shorter, and easier to handle than the SE, with a balanced body designed for longer sessions.
Its high-speed drying system saves time, while 150 million negative ions help cut down frizz and leave hair smoother. A six-layer noise reduction setup brings sound down to a calm 62 dB, and Smart Temperature Control — adjusting heat 50 times per second — helps protect hair from damage.
Available in Tan, Pink, and Purple, the SE Lite retails for P3,799 and can be purchased for as low as P1,999 during the launch period on Laifen’s official social commerce platforms.

The Hisense 116-inch TV is here to make your home feel like a private theater
Who needs a movie ticket when your TV can outshine the cinema?
If your idea of a good night in involves snacks, streaming, and a screen that practically swallows your wall, Hisense might have built your fantasy.
Meet the Hisense 116-inch Class UX Series RGB-MiniLED TV, the world’s biggest of its kind now lighting up the Philippines.
Revealed at Anson’s The Link in Makati, this colossal screen made its debut to gasps and wide eyes. Because when you see it, “big” feels like an understatement.
The world’s biggest
This isn’t just size for show. The UX Series uses RGB-MiniLED technology, where red, green, and blue LEDs live right behind the panel to give you truer colors, deeper contrast, and lifelike brightness.
Think: every explosion in an action scene or sunset in a K-drama glowing with 3D color control and over 20,000 local dimming zones.
It even hits up to 8,000 nits of peak brightness. Basically, daylight in a TV.
Behind the screen’s magic is the Hi-View AI Engine X, Hisense’s powerhouse brain that constantly tweaks and refines your content.
Movies look sharper, motion stays buttery-smooth, and sound feels more realistic, all thanks to its faster CPU, GPU, and NPU.
The TV’s AI Picture and AI Sound work like your invisible home theater crew. It boosts dialogue clarity, balances acoustics, and makes every scene sound as good as it looks.
And when you’re switching between Netflix or game nights, AI Scenario automatically adjusts everything so it always looks on point. Also, AI Energy keeps it eco-friendly by fine-tuning brightness.
During the launch, Hisense also took the chance to do something meaningful, supporting the Cultural Center of the Philippines with brand-new TVs to help promote local art, film, and theater.
The Hisense 116-inch Class UX Series RGB-MiniLED is now available at Anson’s The Link Makati for a promo price of PhP 1,249,999 (cash), with a PhP 1,999,999 SRP.
