realme GT Neo3 ships with 150W super-fast charging

Years of building the fastest charging standard, the battery wars are finally bearing fruit. Some smartphones today are coming out with ridiculously impressive charging capabilities. A member of that race, realme has outed a new smartphone duo – the realme GT Neo3 — that can blow away a lot of expectations in the super-fast charging arena.

Launching in China first, the GT Neo3 comes with the new 5nm Dimensity 8100 chipset from MediaTek. It can sport up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Besides the brand-new processor, the series also comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

At its rear, the GT Neo3 comes with three cameras: 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera + 8-megapixel ultrawide camera + 2-megapixel macro camera. In front, users can snap selfies with a single 16-megapixel camera.

And now, here’s the main event. The series comes in two delightful flavors. The regular version comes with an impressive 5000mAh battery. Even as a regular version, the variant ships with an 80W flash charging adapter. It can reportedly pump the battery to full in just 32 minutes.

On the other hand, the second version comes with just 4500mAh of battery capacity. However, it ups the standard by shipping with a 150W UltraDart charger. It can reportedly charge the phone to 50 percent in just five minutes. Despite the blazing speed, realme says that the battery will stay below 43°C even while charging.

The realme GT Neo3 comes in black, silver, or blue. The regular version will start at CNY 1,999. Meanwhile, the 150W version will start at CNY 2,599.

Not even Nokia phones are safe from AI features

Did you mistakenly assume that the only way to escape the deluge of AI is to go for a more budget-friendly smartphone? With major brands infusing their phones with AI, it’s a reasonable assumption. However, a batch of new Nokia phones proves that even the budget market isn’t safe from artificial intelligence.

Recently, Nokia, thanks to HMD, is launching four new phones: Nokia 200 4G, 210 4G, 215 4G 2nd Edition, and 235 4G 2nd Edition. It’s easy to get bogged down on the detailed specs of all four phones, but it’s even easier to focus on the ginormous AI button present on all of them.

All four phones are powered by Sikey AI. Pressing that big button lets users ask basic queries, so it’s more a voice assistant in essence than anything. However, when it’s literally a giant button, it’s also a very hard sell.

Even worse, the AI is free for only 180 days. Users will need to subscriber afterwards and on a separate smartphone (because the Nokia doesn’t have apps) to continue using the features. Otherwise, the AI logo turns into something completely useless.

In other news, all four phones are pleasantly dumb. The Nokia 215 and the 235 have a 2.8-inch IPS display, while the 210 4G and the 215 4G have 2.4-inch QVGA displays. All four models have everything you need from a simple communication device.

Samsung has begun building anticipation for its next generation of Galaxy foldables with a series of teaser videos set to premiere on its official global social media channels.

Rather than showing the devices themselves, the teaser campaign transforms familiar everyday objects into visual hints. Pizza slices, chocolate bars, and other items appear in proportions that longtime Galaxy fans may recognize, subtly pointing toward the company’s foldable lineup.

According to Samsung, the campaign reflects its ongoing vision for foldables—one shaped by years of engineering innovation and consumer insights. The company says its goal is to make foldable devices feel more useful, natural, and intuitive in everyday life.

The teaser also suggests Samsung is looking beyond simply launching another device. Instead, it hints at expanding the Galaxy foldable portfolio with more choices and new ways for users to experience the Galaxy ecosystem.

Samsung has yet to reveal additional details, but the latest teasers mark the beginning of its next foldable campaign ahead of an expected Galaxy Unpacked event later this month.

Samsung might be working on a rollable phone

For Apple, the next holy grail is a foldable iPhone. However, for Samsung who’s already had an iron grip on the foldable market for years now, the next evolution might be a rollable phone.

According to several Korean sources, Samsung’s next project is a rollable phone. Samsung Display is currently discussing the technology with the company’s smartphone arm for a potential consumer-ready product.

As is normal with new technologies, it might take a while for a rollable phone to enter the market. Samsung is reportedly planning a 2028 release for the device.

As for the name, the brand might settle for the Galaxy Z Slide. With how Samsung names its devices, “Slide” makes sense.

Now, a rollable phone has been a dream for a few other brands. For example, LG, before they gave up on the smartphone market, dished out a concept for a rollable display in the TV and the smartphone space. Sony, Motorola, OPPO, and TECNO have also experimented with the technology.

With its resources, Samsung stands to be at the forefront of the rollable market, just as it did with the foldable phone. But, as always, take the rumors with a grain of salt. There’s still quite a bit of time before 2028 arrives. The brand can easily change its mind.
