2024 LG OLED evo TVs feature improved alpha processors

LG Electronics is introducing its 2024 OLED TV lineup. It’s headlined by LG Signature OLED M4 wireless and LG OLED G4 TVs.
The expanded 2024 OLED TV lineup features a ton of cutting-edge AI-related improvements. It’s bannered by a new AI-powered processor developed by LG exclusively for the OLED TVs.
Notably, the new M4 and G4 TVs are equipped with the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor that effectively enhances picture and audio quality.
Upgraded AI upscaling that uses precise pixel-level image analysis effectively sharpens objects and backgrounds.
The AI processor also refines colors by analyzing frequently used shades to convey the mood and emotional elements intended by filmmakers and creators.
LG OLED M4 wireless TV
The 65-inch LG OLED M4 wireless TV is the latest addition to its line. It joins variants up to the 97-inch size.
It boasts 4K 144Hz transmission via the Zero Connect Box, making it the perfect display for both entertainment in gaming.
The resolution and refresh rate are complemented by Game Optimizer and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync.
Audio-wise, the LG OLED M4 features AI sound Pro for richer and fuller audio supported by virtual 11.1.2 surround sound.
Depending on the content, AI technology likewise separates audio from vocals for better clarity.
Seamless compatibility, personalization
All of LG’s latest OLED TVs can also use the latest webOS platform. This provides a more personalized viewing experience, as well as Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast.
They can also be paired with LG soundbars through WOWCAST built-in to enhance the audio immersion.
LG’s OLED TVs are part of many products featured at its CES 2024 booth (#16008) in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12.
TCL, one of the leaders in the current TV technology, has showcased not just a new industry-leading 115-inch QD-mini LED TV.
They are showcasing over 100 smart products including a new smart glasses, their next-gen NXTPAPER tablets, greener appliances, and even hosting a sporting world superstar.

Lenovo is making AI even more tangible and accessible for everyone. At CES 2024, Lenovo announced more than 40 new devices powered by AI.
The list includes products from its popular Yoga, ThinkBook, ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, and Legion lines.
Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone
New Lenovo Yoga Windows 11 laptops are equipped with Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone, an exclusive software for artists and creators.
This software harnesses the power of generative AI, offering image generation from text-based descriptions or sketches. This eliminates the need for complex codes and prompts.
Lenovo AI Core Chip
The new Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i and Yoga 9i 2-in-1, meanwhile, come with a physical Lenovo AI Core Chip. This complements the latest Intel Core Ultra processors inside these devices.
Both models have a Copilot key that leverages AI for answers, summarizing emails, generating images, and other useful features.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Tab M11 tablet have Nebo and MyScript calculator 2 already built in.
These useful features enable users to convert handwriting into text and solve equations and functions in real-time, respectively.
Lenovo AI Now Personal Assistant
When it comes to personal AI, Lenovo is working on a new solution designed to enable end-user interaction through natural language.
This provisionary Lenovo AI Now Personal Assistant interacts based on users’ on-device knowledge base.
The AI assistant is expected to streamline workflows and enhance collaborations on a more personal and immersive manner.
Other tasks that can be streamlined include checking or changing common settings, searching and summarizing emails and documents, creating meeting invitations, and more.
This innovation is going to be rolled out in China within the first half of 2024.
Intel-powered experiences
Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 2-in1, and IdeaPad Pro 5i will likewise get dedicated AI acceleration support.
Enabled by Copilot for Windows, this shall enhance the devices’ efficiency and capabilities for users.
AI-powered assistive tech solutions
Lastly, Lenovo is also working on its assistive technology solutions for the benefit of people with special needs and those with disabilities.
The new technologies include a hyper-realistic AI avatar developed with DeepBrain AI to preserve personality and power communication.
There is also an on-device, personal LLM for predictive text made by Lenovo’s AI Innovation Center.
Other innovations include an eye-tracking hardware tested on Lenovo devices and an AI-optimized multi-modal input platform.

Fast Pair for Chromecast, Quick Share, more
At CES 2024, Google has announced significant updates for Android users which are designed to enhance user experience and connectivity.
These upgrades cover file-sharing, screen-casting, device-pairing, and even electric vehicle features. They will automatically roll out on all compatible Android devices soon.
Quick Share
To start off, Google and Samsung are partnering for Quick Share, a unified cross-Android solution for peer-to-peer content sharing.
This will integrate the best features of Nearby Share and Samsung’s Quick Share to become the default built-in option for file-sharing. Quick Share will also be pre-installed on Windows PCs to expand its reach across devices.
Fast Pair support to Chromecast with Google TV
Fast Pair, meanwhile, is expanding to Chromecast with Google TV for hassle-free Bluetooth accessory pairing on compatible headphones and speakers while watching movies and shows.
Chromecast itself will soon be available across more devices, like the 2024 LG TV series and LG Hospitality and Healthcare devices.
Android Auto upgrades for EVs
Lastly, electric vehicles compatible with Android Auto can now share time battery information with Google Maps.
Top car brands will soon feature Google built in too. They will integrate Maps, Assistant, and other apps directly into cars’ displays so users can send planned trips from their phones to Maps on their car displays.
