Lenovo launches new Snapdragon X Elite-powered laptops

Lenovo has launched its first two laptops which carry the Snapdragon X Elite processor. They are the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x. These latest devices are also Lenovo’s first Copilot+ PC offerings, ushering a new phase in the AI era.

Both the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and Yoga Slim 7x set new standards in AI PC innovation for a futuristic user experience. Utilizing the Snapdragon X Elite platform and its dedicated Qualcomm NPU and with the help of the latest Copilot+ enhancements, the new laptops promise new levels of personalization as well as increased productivity, creativity, and security.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x

Lenovo Snapdragon X Elite

With the AI-powered Yoga Slim 7x, creators will enjoy less time editing, rendering, and processing. The Snapdragon X Elite’s Hexagon NPU also provides onboard access to helpful features like text-to-image or advanced photo and video editing functionalities. To ensure seamless usage, the laptop has a 70Wh battery for up to multi-day battery life.

The Yoga Slim 7x features a vivid 14.5-inch 3K PureSight OLED display. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and supports 90Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, it has 100% sRGB and P3 color gamut support, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

To complement the visuals, the Lenovo Premium Suite four speaker sound system brings lifelike audio. And for video conferencing, the Yoga Slim 7x has a FHD MIPI IR webcam and four ID microphones. Other improvements include lossless high-definition audio, 4K streaming, and faster internet connectivity.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is priced starting at US$ 1,199 and will retail starting June 2024.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6

Built for professionals, the latest ThinkPad variant also harnesses the power of its platform and built-in Adreno GPU. With the processor’s integrated 45 TOPS NPU, the laptop sets new benchmark for performance and efficiency. And with Copilot+’s features, users will be able to streamline common tasks with the help of generative AI and machine learning.

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is equipped with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. In front is a 14-inch WUXGA IPS or 2.8K OLED display with 100% sRGB or DCI-P3, Dolby Vision, and HDR True Black 500. It likewise features an FHD+IR MIPI camera, Wi-Fi 7, and a capable 58Wh battery, among other features.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is priced starting at US$ 1,699 and will also retail starting June 2024.
