The Nokia Power Earbuds come with ‘150-hour battery life’
Available only in China
A few years ago, Nokia’s expansion beyond phones would have been preposterous. Since its dominance at the start of the millennium, Nokia has always found its closely guarded niche in the phone-making business. However, the company has announced the first Nokia-branded televisions late last year. Now, they are going even further.
Recently, Nokia has launched its own wireless earbuds in China. The Power Earbuds touts the most bombastic feature ever seen in wireless earbuds — a 150-hour battery life.
Design-wise, the Power Earbuds have the traditional set of components for the emerging technology: two in-ear pieces and a charging case. The set comes in two colors: charcoal black and light gray.
Inside, the earbuds sport a 6mm graphene driver unit, supposedly putting out high-quality audio. It is compatible with Google Assistant, allowing hands-free operation.
Further, they can support Bluetooth 5.0, extending usage by up to 800 feet. For durability, the Power Earbuds are certified for IP7 resistance. Supposedly, users can submerge the earbuds underwater for up to 30 minutes.
As for that battery life, Nokia presents an interesting caveat. The earbuds themselves don’t last for 150 hours; instead, they last for a more believable 5-hour charge. Each bud contains only 50mAh capacity for battery life.
The gargantuan battery belongs to the charging case. The 3000mAh case has as much battery life as a smartphone. As such, users can charge the earbuds multiple times through the case before charging the case itself.
The Nokia Power Earbuds are available exclusively online in China. They retail for CNY 699 or around US$ 100.

GameSir has a special G7 Pro WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Edition
Inspired by Wuchang’s Draconic Resurgence costume
GameSir has officially launched a special edition G7 Pro WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Edition controller.
This high-performance multi-platform controller works with Xbox, PC, and Android, and features a striking new design that ties in with 505 Games’ latest title.
The controller is now available on the GameSir website for US$ 99.99 / £ 109.99 / PhP 5,900. It will be available on Amazon as well by October.
The G7 Pro WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Edition is inspired by Wuchang’s Draconic Resurgence costume.
It has a distinct blue green appearance, with both sides draped in golden dragon scales that have been enhanced with layered UV resin textures.
The smart charging station features the Soulslike title’s logo, while the A, Y, X, and B buttons also have the game’s font.
Beyond aesthetics, the controller retains key features from the original G7 Pro. It features tri-mode connectivity so users can connect via 2.4GHz wireless, wired, or Bluetooth. It also supports one-press wake-up for Xbox consoles.
At the core of the controller’s precision is GameSir Mag-Res TMR stick technology. This combines the low power consumption of traditional potentiometers and the longevity and stability of Hall Effect sticks.
The result is faster response times, as well as consistent in-game control. This is further supported by a 1000Hz polling rate when connected to PC or 2.4GHz.
In addition, the G7 Pro introduces four customizable macro buttons: two mini bumpers and two lockable back buttons. This gives gamers a flexible configuration. A built-in gyroscope (for PC only) also enables intuitive motion input mapping.
Furthermore, the optical micro switch ABXY buttons and mechanical micro D-pad ensure crisp, esports-level feedback. The four independent rumble motors (one in each grip and trigger) deliver immersive, localized haptic feedback.
Accessories include:
- 3m Type-C cable
- 2.4GHz wireless dongle
- cable retainer
- two extra D-pads
- smart charging station
