OPPO Pad Air debuts in Singapore
ColorOS-ready smart tablet

OPPO is challenging its competitors in Singapore when it comes to tablets as it has launched the OPPO Pad Air in the island for SG$ 399.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 860 processor, and has a 10.36-inch 2K HD display that is certified for eye care.
The smart tablet has a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, along with a large 7,100mAh battery for up to 16 hours of battery life, depending on usage.
Design-wise, the OPPO Pad Air has an appealing metallic look. It weighs 440 grams and a thickness of 6.94mm. It also has four large speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
ColorOS-ready
The OPPO Pad Air includes the brand’s ColorOS for its interface, making it capable of multi-screen connect functions like drag-and-drop, clipboard sharing, and more.
This means users can also connect a phone to the tablet and directly drag-and-drop photos and videos taken by the phone to the tablet for a larger screen for processing.
They may also copy text on one device and then paste it onto the tablet, making up for seamless tasks.
The tablet will also maintain original unique functions for smart interactions, like two-finger split screen, four-finger floating window, and Smart Sidebar.
Availability
The OPPO Pad Air is available in Fog Gray exclusively on Shopee from November 11 to 18.
Afterwards, it will retail via OPPO’s Amazon, Lazada, Qoo10, and TikTok stores starting on November 19.
For Shopee’s 11.11 sale, the tablet will also get a SG$ 50 off while students get to enjoy an extra SG$ 10 off, meaning it will be sold for only SG$ 339.
The first 100 buyers of the OPPO Pad Air will likewise receive a VIU Premium 6 months subscription voucher code.

Philips has ventured into the soundbar business with the global launch of the Philips Professional Soundbar (HAL5023) that brings powerful cinematic audio experiences in hotel rooms.
The two-in-one soundbar comes with a built-in subwoofer that has been designed and configured exclusively to suit Philips’ MediaSuite TVs, delivering a better and more immersive entertainment experience.
The device was built in collaboration with TP Vision’s Philips sound team; it features a professional 2.1 channel setup. It is designed to be installed effortlessly as either a freestanding or wall-mountable soundbar.
Afterwards, users may easily configure the soundbar’s settings using the professional setup menu on the Philips MediaSuite TV.
All other related settings can be quickly copied and transferred to the entire TV fleet remotely through cloning via PPDS CMND.
Control your experience
The newly-released soundbar can be controlled using the standard MediaSuite TV remote, eliminating the need for another controller.
It can also double as a high-end speaker for guests wishing to play any song, podcast, video, or audio file out loud on their personal devices, via Bluetooth or the built-in Chromecast technology on the MediaSuite TV.
The soundbar also comes with a power adapter so that only one power outlet is used, along with the TV.

YouTube has unveiled a new video-editing app that leverages the power of AI technology to help creators. The beta version of YouTube Create is now available on Android in select markets.
The app is free of charge and is designed to make video production for Shorts or even lengthier content much more simple and easier.

Dream Screen will be an experimental feature that allows anyone to create an AI-generated video or image background by simply typing an idea into a prompt, to complement their Shorts.
In the future, YouTube is also looking at users being able to mix existing videos or content with this feature.
