In another round of price cuts of Huawei phones in the Philippines, the current flagship offerings took the hit. Just four months after their initial launch, the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are now four thousand pesos cheaper.
When the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro landed locally, they were priced at PhP 34,990 and PhP 44,990, respectively. Those numbers were already considered great prices for a new flagship phone with beastly specs and amazing cameras, especially for the P20 Pro. So, the current price cut made them even more affordable as flagship phones.
If you want to get a brand new and unlocked Huawei P20 with 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, it’s now available for PhP 30,990. The Huawei P20 Pro with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage, on the other hand, is down to PhP 40,990.
Both phones are also cheaper through postpaid plans from Globe. From the PhP 3,600 device fee for the Huawei P20 under ThePLAN 1999, it’s now only PhP 2,400. You can now also get the Huawei P20 Pro under the same plan for PhP 10,800, instead of PhP 14,400.

Honor Watch Magic goes official in the Philippines
Feature packed smartwatch at a low price
Want to buy a Huawei Watch GT but can’t afford it? The Honor Watch Magic may just be the answer. It does all the things the Watch GT can do, but for half the cost. And what’s more, it’s coming to the Philippines through Lazada.
Honor Watch Magic features
The Honor Watch Magic is a smartwatch that features the same design as the Huawei Watch GT. This is not surprising, as Huawei owns and shares resources with Honor. Up front, the Honor Watch Magic has two stainless steel dials that controls the watch’s interface. Honor provided a 1.2-inch AMOLED display which is enough for a smartwatch.
Smartwatches have fitness tracking built-in as a core feature. The Honor Watch Magic is no exception. It has step tracking, continuous heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. With this feature, it manages to one-up the Apple Watch since the costlier smartwatch doesn’t have any sleep tracking feature at all.
The Honor Watch Magic also tracks different exercises. Its current selection includes running, hiking, swimming and cycling. It has GPS built-in which enhances the data collected by the smartwatch by adding location data.
Connectivity with a smartphone is not a problem since the smartwatch has Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy (BLE). This enables it to receive notifications and sync data to the Huawei Health app.
The smartwatch is waterproof up to 50 meters. Battery capacity is rated at 178 mAh, which is fine for a full day usage. It comes with a black sweat proof band to match any fashion styles.
Starting this October 15, the Honor Watch Magic will be available at Lazada online store. On its first day of sale, the smartwatch will retail at an exclusively low price of PhP 5,990. After October 15, it will retail at its SRP of PhP 7,990 only at Lazada. It will be available only in black.
