Are you still trying to build a new PC? Though restrictions have eased, the world is in disarray over an ongoing chip shortage stemming from the start of the pandemic. Both finished devices and components are in scarcity. Building a PC is still a difficult endeavor. However, if you’re still looking for parts released from a few years ago, you might want to add another to your list. AMD has announced the new Ryzen 7 5800X3D, sporting technology you haven’t seen in a Ryzen chip yet.

Officially launching in April, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the first AMD processor to sport AMD 3D V-Cache technology. With its eight cores, the chipset can reportedly offer the fastest 1080p gaming experience today (compared to its contemporaries in the market). The new processor will start selling on April 20 for US$ 449.

If you’re looking for budget-friendly options, AMD is also launching six desktop options to fit both gaming preference and budget. First off, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X — with Zen 3 architecture — will sport eight cores and sixteen threads, pumping up to 4.6GHz in power. It sells for US$ 299. Meanwhile, also boasting Zen 3 architecture, the Ryzen 5 5600 (US$ 199) and 5500 (US$ 159) will have six cores and twelve threads each, touting up to 4.4GHz and 4.2GHz of power, respectively.

Finally, the set will see three more entries for Zen 2 architecture with different specs for each: AMD Ryzen 5 4600G (6 cores/12 threads, up to 4.2GHz, US$ 154), Ryzen 5 4500 (6 cores/12 threads, up to 4.1GHz, US$ 129), and Ryzen 3 4100 (4 cores/8 threads, up to 4.0GHz, US$ 99).

All six processors will start selling on April 4.
